And other assorted jazz items being auctioned this weekend in NYC.
Goodman Tails tailored by Huntsman circa 1960, and Brooks Bros patent pumps:
Two other Goodman jackets, one Huntsman with shawl collar (interesting separate lapel/collar detail) and a peaked lapel Dunhill:
Also notable is a gold smoking jacket that ONLY T. Monk could pull off, Charlie Parker's cufflinks (one sided, flip bar back, gold tone: oh Bird), a hat made by Gelot for Dexter Gordon, assorted leather goods including a pigskin travelcase for neckties used by Goodman, a few odd odd jackets, and a really awful crystal studded dinner jacket worn by Dexter Gordon to the 1987 Oscars.
No Duke Ellington DBs here.
For the musicians/jazzfans: a number of drum kits (one played by Tony Williams, a few used by Elvin Jones), and Lionel Hampton's custom vibes; also a number of reel tape recordings including an unreleased Ornette Coleman live recording (sigh).

Looks like these items are on display tomorrow (Sat.) 10-9 in NYC at: Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall on Broadway at 60th. Auction is Sunday same venue. I'd love to see the crowd at this event.
