I just received a pair of Bean's camp mocs. Impressive quality. I had forgotten how nice and comfortable these are. It got me thinking perhaps I should have gotten a pair of bluchers instead as I always thought of the lace-ups as being a little more versatile and dressier.
Camp mocs and boat shoes are for chinos and polos/oxfords but perhaps bluchers can go all the way to the bottom end of knit tie and blazer? Or was this only in prep school?
What's your preference and why? How are these shoes different in appropriateness in your world?
