Have any of you ever had a suit made by Kingford Bavender, a tailor in the Twin Cities area? His website isn't very good, but his credentials (former president of the Custom Tailors & Designers Association of America) suggest that he is quite talented. Are his suits true bespoke? Any information would be helpful.

Just found this thread. I have used him and he is MTM. He does meet personally, takes a thorough set of measurements and the finished product(s) are well done. He has a great sense of color and sends suits with 2 MTM shirts, 2 ties and 2 pair of stockings. I believe he uses Gambert for MTM shirts, Corbin for trousers, not sure of suit shop.
Friendly to work with as well and if there are issues, he is a pleasure to work with.
