My local men's store put a group of shoes on sale; cleaning out his stock room I guess. I lucked upon a pair of Bass Weejuns,"Made In The USA", brand new, in the Antique Brown (N734 model)color, which they have not made for a while. Half price, only $42.50; what a deal!
This has been a staple for me for the past 35 years; partly because of its look and versatility and partly due to the fact that it was the only shoe I could consistently find in an "A" width right out of the stock room.
I have seen other posts that mention Weejuns and wonder if there are others who favor the shoe as I do and were disappointed in it's demise as a US manufactured product and the limited size and colors now available.
