I never had one, can anyone describe their style or utility? Does one get the zip in lining, the hood? Is hunter green basically the best color from a trad standpoint?

Also, theres seems to be several models, bedale, beaufort and border models with the beaufort touted as the most traditional and popular, though they kind of all look alike to me.

Also, I think the point is to get the waxed ones, but they seem to have breathables now too.

Anyone who can opine on the virtues or lack there of of the Barbour, please help a fellow creature out.
