I've been wearing this style BR khakis/chinos for several years, though the description on the link you provided states that these are a new softer version.

The pairs that I own have all held up extremely well. I purchased them because of their slimmer, "less sloppy" fit, and naturally I don't wear mine quite as long as in the picture on the web site. Since they are flat front, and not a relaxed fit, they do have a slimmer fit which I prefer.

I've had many brands, including much higher end, and these are my preferred brand. I give them a thumbs up.

You won't find much love here for Banana Republic, but i agree with the last post. For me, they are just fine, especially when you can get them on sale. I take them to my tailor, and for another $18 get them tapered to about 17 inches.

Gentlemen

I agree Banana Republic are nice. Also check out J Crew. They have really nice chinos. I get the aged when on sale. Really great. Have 3 pair of these now. Onsale about 45 bucks.

Nice day
