Does anyone know anything about the quality of Bachrach shoes? Where they're made? etc. I teied the search function, looked online and evn visit their site all to no avail (which is probably not a good sign right there).

Bachrach is out of business in most, if not all, of their locations. The family owned company sold to Investors a few years ago, who appear to have only been in the clothing business to milk a profit from the stores, then close them. No idea who made the shoes.
Based on the sense I get from the catalogues they've sent me, I wouldn't buy much of anything with confidence from them. I feel sure there's better stuff out there (to include shoes) for the same if not less money.
