Does anybody have any thoughts or experience with a new brand called Art of Sport?

It was developed in partnership with Kobe Bryant and James Harden recommends it. Supposedly it’s all natural, including the plant-based derivative of propylene glycol.

It’s a little bit higher priced than some of the premium Old Spice deodorants and I was thinking whether it was worth the cost compared to say the high endurance line of Old Spice which is like $2.99, versus the $ 6.99 for the Art of Sport

I am using the Schmitdts line, the Patchouli scent and also the Charcoal version, and it is OK for an all natural stick

I don't have any personal experience with it, but in looking over the reviews on Amazon and the brand's website, people seem to be generally happy with both the deodorants and antiperspirants.

I suspect it works about the same as any other OTC deodorant or antiperspirant. Some of the negative reviews seem to indicate this as well, with some claiming it leaves white marks on clothes, scents don't last that long, and the antiperspirant is not as effective as some others.

Assuming the products work similar to other OTC deodorants & antiperspirants, I think sports enthusiasts will connect with the branding. In fact, I quite like how they focus their branding on the athletic or sports-minded individual. Smart from a branding aspect.

Here's the Art of Sport (AOS) deodorant with Eucalyptus. It has a 4-star rating with over 3100 reviews:

If you're looking for an all-natural deodorant only (no sweat control), then you may want to consider Crystal Rock Deodorant (one stick can last a whole year). I started using it 1.5 - 2 years ago after a recommendation from @Clintotron, and I've been quite pleased with it.

This is the one I normally get, but it seems to be unavailable on Amazon atm:

This seems to be an alternative:

The mineral salt blocks odors quite well. I apply it right after I shower, while my underarms are still wet. The odor control can last 1-2 days.

If you want some form of scent, I would recommend using a body spray along side of the Crystal Rock mineral deodorant.

If you need sweat control, I'd recommend trying a 7-day antiperspirant like Sweat Block or Kleinert's Dry Body Wipes / Sweat Shield. Apply it at night, and let it take effect overnight.

Then, just use your favorite deodorant along side to prevent odor.
