I have two boots. One pair have a narrow toe because the gap is an inch or so at most.

How do they feel when you walk? If you feel ok when walking in them, then fine; however, if when walking, they feel as if they are too big then they are too big.

From where you have put the mark, they do seem big. Yes, they are narrow but not too narrow that it justifies a 2.5 inch gap.

I don't know how anyone can order shoes online.

People who use the same shoemaker know what their size. However, I would still avoid purchasing shoes online even if they are shoemakers I have several shoes from, I would rather spend more to try them instore.

Even with them unzipped I can't move my foot forward much, maybe one finger at the most. There is certainly room in front of my toe, but the widest part of my foot matches the widest part of the boot almost perfectly. They are also pretty tight across my instep, which prevents my foot moving forward.

They fit and you should enjoy wearing them. :icon_smile:
