I'm an old guy, so tattoos still look trashy to me. Some of these people are inked up like the Sunday comics.

I also think most of them will regret it eventually, and spend another huge amount of money to have them removed.

Again, this is solely my opinion and does not reflect the opinions of my dog or the rug in my hallway.

As a doctor, I have to, unavoidably, see a lot of skin on shapely younger women. It's all I can do not to ask "Do you know what that tattoo is going to look like when you're over 40 and have had 3 kids."
I still think women with tattoos look like they have spent way too much time around truck stops.

If I look out my study window some morning and see Satan gliding by on a pair of ice skates, I will look my body over to see where my brand new tattoo is located, because Hell freezing over is the only circumstance in which any such thing could possibly happen! Why are people so intent on defacing their bodies. They would be better served to put that same level of interest, effort and resources into maintaining said Temples. ;)

An admission here. I have two tattoos and I regret them. I got them in the 90s when I was in my 20s.
I won't describe them but they are rather small and discreet on my upper arm, and they're not visible in a t-shirt. They fit with what the style was for young guys back then. Back then.

In current times, even young teenage girls are inked like Mauri warriors. You wouldn't see what I have on many people today. Except of course for those who got the same back then and also regret it. If I regret two small tattoos not even visible to the public, I wonder how some of these young folk are going to feel as they age. I think un-inked skin will be the new thing in another generation, as it will be so rare.
