I have recently seen pictures of some Malo sportcoats and am moved to buy them. But my predisposition to purchase is based solely on the quality of their knitwear. I have several 6 and 8 ply cashmere sweaters of theirs, which have always been among my favorites. But does the ability to do knitwear well, necessarily translate into being able to do tailored clothing well? There doesn't seem to be much crossover. On the other hand, maybe they have been doing this for years and this is just the first time I have noticed.
