I've been searching without success for a source for striped dress socks in over the calf lengths. Anyone know a supplier?

Saks has a variety of both striped and and patterned OTC socks.

Up and down stripes, or circular stripes? The former are fairly easy to find. The latter, not so much.

Check out Pantherella. They stock the striped sock in a few colors. I am wearing the navy an medium blue today!

Paul Stuart in NYC and Chicago (www.paulstuart.com) regularly has striped socks, both vertical and horizontal.

If in NYC, try Daffy's or C21, in addition to Paul Stuart, Barneys, etc. Online Ben Silver as well should have something.

Pantherella's stripes are circular (round the leg), but as far as I am aware, not available in O.T.C. That is, unless you are looking for a really subtle one such as the bellringer.

I believe the lower photo is of mid calf hose, not over the calf.

Mid calf means sock suspenders. I do own a pair but I'm concerned that I'd never get a second chance with any woman under fifty in North America if she saw me wearing them.
