There are some newer jackets on the Andover Shop’s website advertised as Made in Canada. Has anyone tried one of them? And does anyone know if these are made by Samuelsohn? In the past, they made a lot for AS and have been their MTM go-to at least as of a few years ago (along with Southwick prior to BB collapse). These jackets are made of really high end cloth, but the full price point seems low for Samuelsohn (~$750). I was wondering if AS was now going with Empire for some of their jackets? (I realize I could try to obtain this information by calling them, but was hoping for some first-hand customer feedback)

Answering my own question: they are neither Samuelsohn nor Empire, but rather Peerless Clothing of Montreal. Anyone have experience with their products?
TBH never heard of them.
Peerless is one of the largest suit and jacket manufacturers in the world. They make almost nothing under their own name, but practically all Ralph Lauren Green label suits and jackets, Hart Schaffner Marx, Michael Kors, Hilfiger and a slew of others.

Well I got one. I like the material a lot. The shoulders are interesting. They have some padding that slopes down to maintain the natural line. I have read @Billax write about this in the past. It is more pronounced that my southwick jackets from Press and Andover. But it’s not the gigantic padded shoulders that Press had going for a while. My main issue is that the cut is pretty trim and short, certainly by Andover standards. If I had known, I would have bought a long. I am surprised they would not warn on the website. They have some entries that specify “new” vs “traditional” for instance. I no longer live in the Boston area but will probably wait until I visit to get fitted in store before another jacket purchase.
