[Corcovado]

Whilst refreshing my memory on the names of the parts of a shoe, I stumbled across this website that makes and sells clown shoes called Spear's Specialty Shoes. I had never given any thought to where professional clowns acquire their footwear. It's traditional in its own way, and indeed they offer styles like wingtips, captoes, saddle shoes and, surprisingly enough, boat shoes, all of course in the exaggerated manner of clown shoes. Unfortunately, their home page says that they are closing at the end of 2022, so if you've ever wanted a pair of clown shoes get your order in fast. They also sell Santa boots. All quite interesting, IMO.
