Over the past year I purchased two pair of Allen Edmonds pennny style loafers. Both pair have removable insoles and were part of a line of shoes which are lighter in weight and accomodate orthotics easily. This fall, nowhere on their site are dress shoes of this type available. They do seem to have the sneaker type of shoes which pretend to be dress shoes but they in no way qualify as dressy by any stretch of the imagination. While I would prefer the original models such as the Park Avenues and more robust penny loafers, I do need the volume allowed in last years models. Has anyone else noticed this change?
