Does anyone wear TTS length but down a width.? Ive been told the trubalance fits true to size lengthwise but wide. I measure 10.5D. My 10D Indys fit well but are pretty wide on the sides and heel. Ive got plenty toe room but arch feels slightly off. Someone suggested going a width down.

With Alden's Indy Boot I find I get the best fit by just buying my normal size. I tried going down a half size, but thaght yielded a too tight fit. Please note that this assessment is based on a sample size of one pair. ;)

I own two Alden boots that I was told by the salesman were built on the same last as the Indy, but they are not Indy's - so your call if my experience has any value.

I had to go down a half size to get a proper fit. At my usually size, the boot was too long and creased so much across the upper (where my toes begin) that I could feel the leather bending in on the top of my foot. When I went down half a size, the fit was perfect.
