So I am in need of some cheap/affordable dress pants as an upgrade to my casual polo andrew chinos I have been wearing. I picked up two pair of the Ralph Lauren wool dress slacks at Macy's this weekend for $60 a piece but noticed that Jos is doing a sale on their signature or exec pants for thanksgiving, two for $150...wondering thoughts on which are the way to go, also if there are other better suggestions. Thanks

Since you live in Boston, have you tried Filene's?

I've got 3 pairs of the RL dress pants (the green label) and I quite like them for the price range - they're comfortable and warmer than the feel of the material would make you think, but still breathe well. I'd very much miss the gray check pair if something happened to them. :)

From Sierra Trading Post I just picked up three pairs of Corbins for around $30/pair. They're fully alterable, lined to the knee, 100% wool, fairly well made. What else could you ask for? Retail price on these is $125/pair.

Isn't it still closed for renovations? It was when I was there in June.
I have no idea. I would think that there are others around in the area that are still open.
