For me jeans have to be ultra-classic.

Aside from one current 501 I only have several pairs of vintage Seafarer "Dungarees" (US Navy issue bell bottom cut, high waist, think "Popeye") -those were never sold in public stores and are not made anymore in this style-

and Wrangler's 13 MWZ heavy cotton cowboy jeans. "The official rodeo competition jeans". They are high waist too and have a little wider fit for riders and flat rivets so you don't harm yourself when rodeo riding. I love them. They were less then 25 bucks each new in some cowboy store in california.

Now both are classic workwear not fashion jeans. Still right for me.

Oh I know what they are, I was in the Marine Corps which is part of the Navy and I've seen tons of people wearing these but usually it is againts their will...I commend you for the courage to rock this style though on your own accord. :aportnoy:
Orkhis, I assure you I wear them by my free will. They are just cool. Sort of beyound all the fashion fights. However I dislike the current issue navy "jeans" pants with straight legs. I would need to be ordered to wear those.
