Samurai 710XX, Skull 50106X6, and APC NS are my favorite....All of these have little or no branding or ornaments, just classic-style jeans not designer but well made. You gotta try a bunch to find the right fit. Levis never fit me well, the front and back rises are too big. I like a medium rise (10-11") and a straight leg. Raw denim in dark indigo looks classier than faded.

I think this brands are almost imposible to find in shops in Spain, maybe some boutique, I have never seen them . I am sure I can find them online
Samurai's are hard to find anywhere outside Japan, I think Blue in Green in Soho NY and Selfedge in SF are the only 2 places that carry them in the US that I know about.

Thansk for the answers, I will try APC, Ernest sewn and Gieves and hawkes, they all look very good. Another thing that I naver liked aboout jeans is that they stretch, Levi´s for example stretch a lot. Can we tell some brands strectch less than other or depends of the model. What about the brands we have been talking about?

best regards
Generally jeans are meant to stretch until a certain point. They should be really tight at first, you may think way too tight but after they stretch and form to your body they become quite comfortable.

Sizing can be tricky with raw denim, APC are 'vanity' sized which means the tagged size will strecth 1-2 sizes big so if you are a 30 waist you should get a size 28 APC...Other jeans though like Samurai are 'shrink-to-fit' which means they will first shrink 1-2 sizes after soaking and then stretch back out after wear so if you are a size 30 you need a tagged size 31-32.

Thanks so much for that advice, I am in a similar situation with my jeans, I have to prove this kind of denim. If I have to wear them for a few months I wont have to get one size bigger, do they shrink a lot when I finally wash them?

Do you have experience with the japansese brands? like skull, sugar cane, samurai etc. they are mostly raw selvaged denim. Are they better for some reason? they are all above 200 dollars

best regards and thanks for your help
Japanese denim is the best! Japanese are freaks about denim...In the 1970s Levis sold all thier old loom machines in favor of bigger ones that could keep up with the demand so the Japanese bought them all up and now only selvedge denim is made in Japan.
