I am off work this, and my children and back in school as of 9am tomorrow.

My wife is a solicitor and is in court in a charming medieval market town tomorrow morning and has suggested that I accompany her and observe her from the public gallery before a spot of lunch and a leisurely drive home.

The sartorial options that are going through my mind are immense!:icon_smile:

I chose, after much deliberation, to sport - bottom up - Loakes brogues, red Burlington argyle socks, heavyweight off-white Hackett denim jeans (I know!), black base Tattersall check shirt, tweed hacking jacket with red polka dot pocket silk handkerchief.

No tie, as I didn't want to be considered a defendant (unless it was a hunting ban breach thing :icon_smile. And a tie with any jeans - so very inappropriate.

Barbour Beaufort and a tweed cap in the Range Rover in case it rained!

Anyway, my good lady wife played a blinder, as it were, in her Savile Row ladies' fines. and we lunched well afterwards.......
