In my thrifting I've acquired two vintage suits that I really like. One is a grey pinstriped from Brooks that is currently on eBay, and the other is one I intend to keep. It's a navy pinstripe from Corbin. It's undarted with three buttons but upon close inspection, the top button is not hidden by a roll.

How do we feel about this? Where does this sort of thing reside within the trad canon? Should I keep or no?

I'm confused by the statement "upon close inspection, the top button is not hidden by a roll". Why does it require close inspection? You either see the top 3rd button, or it's rolled over, no?
I'm personally not a fan of a 3 button jacket, but what's most important is how you feel about a 3 button jacket?
