Went to get my wedding suit made today. I really liked the look and feel of the hopsack Navy fabric for a three-piece suit. Is the hopsack too informal, or does that even matter anymore nowadays? It's an evening wedding, FWIW.

I was shopping around and was introduced to fabric by Comero made in Italy.
I was told Polo and some other "names" use their fabrics for suiting.
Does anyone know anything about them? How is the quality compared to some of the mills in England?
It is about 1/2 the cost.
