You’ll remember when I was in Russia I met with Imperial Tailoring in Moscow and St. Petersburg. HERE are the photos! I ordered a sport jacket and here it is! Caution this is a beautiful plaid fabric, but one which is vibrant on TV and evidently on photos.
I went with some details I don’t normally go with. Like a contrasting thread for the first sleeve button hole.
An exciting lining fabric!
Again, sorry about the photos, but the fit is great.
The fabris is Fratelli Delfino, Italy of 75 % wool +25 % linen and is a great light weight, perfect for Southern California – 250-260 grams / 9 oz
I went with the usual peaked lapel, two button single breasted, hacking plus ticket pockets!
The brothers four! Jimmy, Sammy, me and Andy.
This is Rocky who measured me in the St. Petersburg shop. If you are ever in Russia I recommend you stop by and have them make you something. If not, just send them a well fitting suit, sport jacket and/or trousers and they can duplicate them perfectly!
