I had one of these in my reckless youth, in the exact model (Corbin, Columbia a 2 button sack) as pictured. Corbin made some of the finest tartan & patchwork clothing I have seen. The only rival would be old pre-marks Brooks, also made by Corbin. Did my weekly net search for "patch+work+tweed" & found this beauty- on ebay in a 38r, this just made me ill. Wish my old one still fit.

I spent a half-hour in Andover Shop this Saturday. In addition to such jackets, they have an entire couch in the shoe section covered in such patchwork fabric! They also had couch pillows and scarves. Nice stuff!

Off topic, I was very jealous of some lucky guy whose wife was buying anything the helpful sales people could suggest to put together an outfit for him for Christmas.

Haven't quite found the nerve to order or wear such a jacket.

I did, however, get a baby blanket for my new nephew. They did a nice job on it.

Sorry to have to admit it

Personally, I think it's worth the extra money to get one with all just one fabric.
I wish I understood why I am the way I am.
I love most patchwork Madras clothing.
Yet I am repulsed by tweed or tartan patchwork.

Is there something deeply wrong with me?
