    Thanks all for the comments!

I should clarify that the picture is not from the suit in question, it's something I found online that looks very similar to the suit I'm looking at.

The suit I am looking at is at a Dillard's and they're having a 30% off sale this weekend. I have a busy dad's weekend coming up, but hope to make it to the mall on Sunday.

A dark charcoal suit with a faint POW is just fine for most events.

I think it's very tasteful and can be worn in many social-professional situations.

I am glad to hear this. The fabric is a great choice. The lavender buttonhole is atrocious.

Yeah, I spotted that too, but sometimes you gotta take the good with the bad. But OP said it's not the actual suit, rather similar cloth, so hopefully his will be sans lavender.

The off color button hole kind of screams douche...

Very nice although not as versatile as a solid gray charcoal.

That's a great choice actually. Subtle but nice. I see no situation you can't wear that in, from job interview to boardroom to wedding to funeral. That's the suit that can do it all.

Just ordered a suit in this cloth so I certainly agree it is a versatile cloth.[IMG]
