    I agree. The boots seem too casual for wool trousers like the ones you're wearing in that pic. I would save them for wear with jeans, chinos and corduroy. I don't think dressy boots even have a pull tab.

    Embrace it. It’s part of wearing boots. High ones are less problematic, but can still cause the problem. Just get used to pulling up the back of the leg to free it every time you get up, our out of the car.

    I stand corrected. The only boots I have with pull tabs are Dr. Martens. :D
    Would tucking the tabs in the shoe work?
