    Default Washed tone?

I recently purchased a pair of "washed tone" heritage banana republic chinos on eBay. It looks to me as if it's a pair of khaki colored chinos that got mixed with a dark blue shirt in a hot wash.

Is there such a thing? Is this some style I'm unfamiliar with?
    Thanks

I just don't get this recent emergence of sartorial newbies making odd purchases and then asking the forum about their usefulness, rather than seeking advice from the forum on what they should be looking to purchase.

By the way, sorry Doc, I can't help with your question.
