So, would you recommend it from a styling and quality standpoint?

Without hesitation. Fantastic fabrics, first-rate construction & workmanship, style, fit. Go for it.quote:Originally posted by hbrulay

Is the Isaia Napoli line really that bad? Based on the thread you sent, Mussel suggests avoiding this line...

I love my Gianluca Isaia suit. Super 120, navy with subtle purple and blue stripes (very subtle, looks solid until close up),3 button roll to 2, flat front pants. Model is Stewart. Retail $2400. Bought on sale at Wayne Edwards in Philadelphia for half that.
This was my first ever nice suit, so I can't compare with high line stuff, but compared to Jos. A. Bank signature suits or Ralph Lauren Chaps this is so far out of that league it's like we're talking apples and rocks, not apples and oranges.
I just love the high armholes that let me move without the whole thing lifting up like a tent. I feel like a million bucks in this thing. The only bad thing I can say about Isaia is the same bad thing I say about Ask Andy: I'm ruined! Now I have a taste, I want more.
By the way, STP has these at significant savings once you determine your size. Click through from Andy's site.

Isaia Napoli is excellent, it's Gianluca Napoli that I'd avoid.quote:Originally posted by hbrulay

So, now I'm a bit confused.. Is this a Isaia Napoli or a Gianluca Napoli suit?

Gianluca Isaia Napoli and Isaia Napoli are the same thing, with extensive handworks and fully canvassed front. Gianluca Napoli is the cheaper diffussion line with fused front.

I have had a couple of their suits, MTM. Excellent bang for the buck. Great drape, lapels and exceptionally well made
In NYC, I would say go to saks. They do a good job of measuring for this particular product.

Fabulous suits, shirts, and ties! I own two of these suits - great fabric and excellent fit. The jackets have double vents and the trousers are flat front.

Great suit and a steal. I wonder why there's no bid for brand new Isaia suit at merely $400.quote:Originally posted by mussel

Both suits are from the mainline, excellent quality. Sometimes the label has "Gianluca", sometimes it doesn't but the labels always have "Isaia Napoli." Notice both labels have black background with white letterings.quote:Originally posted by hbrulay

The label for Gianluca Napoli, the cheaper diffusion line, has a light blue background with orange letterings and it doesn't have "Isaia" anywhere on the label.
