Default A new product, Deo-go, that removes deodorant stains in shirts!

Why didn’t someone invent this before now (actually why didn’t I get a Chemical Engineering degree and invent this myself!!).

Deo-go is a spray-on pre-wash treatment that removes deodorant stains from shirt underarms.

Once an undershirt gets the yellow underarm stain – usually a combination of deodorant and perspiration it’s been almost impossible to clean.

And if you can save a shirt it’s well worth the investment in a bottle of Deo-go!

    http://www.getdeogo.com/

It comes in a pump action spray (not aerosol!) and you get 9 ozs for $10.50

You need to follow the directions closely. I tried it on some of my wife’s 29 year old 10K tee shirts and two of my dress shirts (one problem is that I’m careful about making sure my Mitchum dries completely before I put on my shirt so I really could only fine two shirts with which to experiment – just bragging since I rarely get a chance!! ).

Spray Deo-go on both sides of the underarm stain. Use a brush to make sure it gets into the fibers. I learned on a Martha Stewart show once to only brush stains one way when you’re doing a pre-wash stain remover!

Then let it sit. The instructions recommend 10 to 15 minutes, but the longer the better. Then wash, best when you wash the garment by itself.

Deo-go worked best on the tee-shirts and I was amazed (remember these are 29 year old tees) at the positive results! The dress shirts which were less stained took two washings (there went my bragging rights for laundry skill!) but I was afraid to brush them as much as the tee shirts (don’t tell my wife!).

It seems to work best with cotton undershirts, but it really just depends on the age and degree of the stain. Try it.

Since I started using Mitchum roll on years ago I have completely eliminated this problem. I haven't had a deodorant or sweat stain on a shirt in so long I can't even remember the last time. What is the old saying about an ounce of prevention being worth a pound of cure.

That's true, and reason I should try roll-on again, but I moved away from them under the impression that liquid allows more of the aluminum to be absorbed by the body. In hindsight, the active ingredient in sticks is the same, and if it works, it's being absorbed, so not much prevention at all. Sticks are available in more scents though, if you need that.

FWIW, SpeedStick now comes in a version w/ something called "StainGuard."

Personally, I use Brut stick deodorant (the cynlindrical kind) and never have staining issues.

A couple weeks ago I posted an inquiry for a product or technique that would rid my lovely T&A white collar shirts of that nasty collar dinge. Would this work on non-antiperspirant stains?
    Thanks David

Ribbed-T is also offering the product recommended in this thread, on their website. Recommended by Andy, offered for sale on the Ribbed-T site...perhaps it's time to give this new product a try!

Hi Deliberate, Thanks for your question. Yes, Deo-Go will remove that dreaded "ring around the collar" too! You can purchase it at our getDeogo.com website.

    Take care!

Hi Eagle! Thanks for all your support with our RibbedTee undershirt line and our new Deo-Go product too. As a matter of clarification, we don't offer Deo-Go for sale on RibbedTee.com, however, we own and operate getDeogo.com which is our primary online sales channel for Deo-Go. Also, we're hoping to have Deo-Go carried in one or more major retailers (Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Walmart, or a major grocery chain) sometime later this fall!

    Take care,
    Mike
