Shoe Trees

Cedar shoetrees should be used to maintain shape, absorb moisture and leave a clean scent in all your shoes.  Put the shoetrees in your shoes the minute you take them off while they are warm and moist.

Solid toe shoetrees work best on heavier shoes, while split-toe shoetrees work well on soft shoes, like hand-sewn, boat, and athletic shoes.

To insert a shoetree hold it by the back of the forepart putting into the toe as far as possible before inserting the heel into the shoe.

Shoetree pairs come in left and right – note that the thick part goes on the inside of the shoe and the slightly taped edge goes to the outside.

They also are available in sizes!  Make certain you choose the shoetree that corresponds to your shoe.
